24 and more
Wow....simply wow...after 4 hours of Day 7, the next season of 24 is off to a bang. Literally. If you havent check out this show, you really are missing out. This year has been, so far, the best year yet. The writers have masterfully discovered a way to capture our attention once again. When you think about it, it is pretty amazing. The writers and producers continue to keep our attention after 6 total seasons. That's 6 seasons of the same exact thing; the United States is under some kind of terroristic attack, and one man comes to save the day. I'm not complaining though. These guys obviously know what they are doing, and make it seem so real. I love every minute of it, and in a time of the television really lacking in good shows, this is definately the best.
One thing I don't like in the show so far is "Madam President." No offense to women out there, but I think the producers are trying to show us what would happen if a female was in charge of this country. In one seen she almost breaks down in tears from trying to figure out what to do in a situation. "There's no crying in the White House."
I really would like to be Jack Bauer though. It would be pretty sweet to take down terrorism single handedly. That would be crazy. To be able to live one day in his shoes....or even one hour, would be the time of my life. Or to be a cross between Jack Bauer and Chuck Norris. Even more amazing. But i still think Jack is way better than old Chucky.
I've been on this really big fix from "The Office" episodes. Over the last couple of weeks I have watched season 1-4 completely, and am starting them over again. Each time I pick up something new, and it seems to get funnier. I need to find some other shows to watch though. If you have any ideas, and possibly some that are on Netflix Instantly Watch, let me know.
Movie review of the week: Bedtimes Stories
I saw this movie on New Year's day with the family. It was a pretty good movie. I am a big Adam Sandler guy, and this really wasnt his typical movie. A whole lot cleaner then those other ones. The kids in this movie are adorable, and are really good actors. It has a really good moral too: Dream Big! In the movie, the dreams become reality. Overall, its a B+ movie, and a great movie to take the kids to.

WELCOME BACK!
As far as Madame President goes, I think it is FOX's way of numbing us to the possibility of it in the near future. They did it with a black president for a few season's and look at us now. 24 producers are controlling the elections.
